California Introduces Law to Stop Delivery Apps Screwing Over Restaurants

A legislation that tries to limit the extractive and exploitative approach of platform companies towards restaurants was introduced in California. The bill hopes to make it mandatory for platforms to come to an agreement with restaurants before listing them on the app and also share customer information with them.
