'Are we worth $3?': Some Uber Eats riders say shrinking pay and poor training is putting them in danger

Australian delivery workers continue to protest against declining rates and poor treatment by the platform, UberEats. According to the Transport Workers' Union, declining wages pressurize workers to accept more jobs and rush to earn as much as they used to before, leading to injury and death. This comes close on the heels of as many as five workers losing their lives in delivery-related accidents in the last two months of 2020.
