Food-delivery giant Deliveroo is pulling out of Germany

Deliveroo's abrupt exit and meagre severance pay concurs with Dr. van Doorn's finding that the gig economy works great as a stepping stone, but being stuck in it for a longer period leaves one vulnerable to greater risks.
