Cleaners Demand Harassment Safeguards From the Booking Service Handy

The Public Rights Project, a civil rights non-profit has filed a complaint with the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing demanding Handy, the domestic cleaning platform, to adequately protect their workers from sexual harassment. They bring to the fore experiences of at least a dozen cleaners who faced on-the-job sexual harassment but did not receive any recourse from Handy.
