Uber drivers to launch legal bid to uncover app's algorithm

UK-based App Drivers and Couriers Union have placed a case before the district court in Amsterdam demanding access to the data that the platform collects from drivers and how it informs the management of their work by the app. This could potentially provide gig workers in Europe more transparency into how their work is governed by platform companies through apps.
