For immigrants, the startups disrupting restaurants look as scary as Uber

The restaurant industry is set to become more delivery-optimized with venture capital flowing into ghost kitchens (delivery-only restaurants) and food prepping. Traditional and small-scale restaurants might face an uphill battle to remain competitive as restaurant ownership, rent, licenses and hiring full-time staff become more expensive.
